Scott Stanford Jenkins, 83, of Lodi, died June 16. He was born in 1929 in French Camp.

Mr. Jenkins was a lifelong resident of San Joaquin County. He graduated from Stockton High School, where he was a starting player on the school football team, the Tarzans. He met and married Charlotte, his wife of 50 years. He worked for Stockton Box Company throughout high school and retired from his supervisor position with the company and American Forest Products after 47 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, especially fly fishing at the family cabin near Kennedy Meadows.

Scott is survived by daughters, Catherine Jenkins and Nancy Jordan; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte, in 1998; and son, Scott Charles Jenkins.

Graveside services will be held at noon Friday at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 at East Harney Lane, Lodi.
