Edward Bonici, 90, of Lodi, died Oct. 7. He was born July 26, 1923, in Casablanca, Morocco.
Mr. Bonici worked as a machinist/tool and die maker for the shipyard of Colberg, Inc. in Stockton for 42 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, going to the beach, and activities with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Bonici of Lodi; son, Pat Bonici of Lodi; daughter, Jeannie Crossfield of Oakdale; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, with a vigil at 6 p.m., in the chapel of the Donahue Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
