A memorial service for Marvel H. Arnold, 77, of Linden, who died July 7, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Rocha's Mortuary, 215 S. School St., Lodi.

Verna Plath

A celebration of life for Verna Lou Plath, 60, formerly of Lodi, who died June 25, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Lodi Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin.

Robert Nelson

A memorial service for Robert D. Nelson, 78, of Lodi, who died July 5, will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 6 at Vinewood Community Church in Lodi. Interment will be private in Sacramento. There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, Texas, 79174.

Carma Suttenfield

A memorial service for Carma Suttenfield, 39, of Polson, Mont. and formerly of Lodi, who died July 7, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lodi Moose Family Center, 13263 N. Highway 99, Lodi. Committal will be held at a later date at Glacier National Park in Montana.

Danielle Fuller

A celebration of life for Danielle Renee Fuller, 16, of Lodi, who died July 6, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at 105 Otta Dr., off Turner Road, Lodi. There will be no visitation and committal will be private.

Claude Fergason

A memorial service for Claude H. Fergason, Jr., 82, of Lodi, who died July 10, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Vinewood Community Church in Lodi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vinewood Community Church Missions Fund, 1900 W. Vine St., Lodi, CA 95240.

Melvin Brown

A graveside service for Melvin Jackson Brown, 76, of Wilcox, Ariz. and formerly of Lodi, who died July 9, will be held at 3 p.m. today at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Charles Wm. Leighton Jr. Hospice, P.O. Box 115, Wilcox, Ariz. 85644.

Frank Johnson

A memorial service for Dr. Frank Johnson Jr., 83, of Lodi, who died July 11, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Zion Reformed Church, 105 S. Ham Lane, Lodi, with Pastor Matthew Duerr officiating. Inurnment will be private in Idaho. A reception will follow in Crete Hall at Hutchins Street Square, 125 S. Hutchins St.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hutchins Street Square or to the Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.

Janice Mckinney

A memorial service for Janice Jensen McKinney, 64, of Lodi, who died July 5, will be held at 2 p.m. July 23 at the Depot Restaurant in Oroville.

Rudolph Lozano

A funeral for Rudolph "Rudy" Lozano, 73, of Lodi, who died July 9, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home, 123 N. School St., Lodi. A private interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Following the service, a gathering will be held at the Loel Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Loel Community Center, 105 S. Washington St., Lodi, CA 95240; or to the Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.
