Bonnie Jean Cantwell, 83, of Lodi, died Dec. 24. She was born May 23, 1929 at Wichita, Kan.

Mrs. Cantwell was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching religious programs on television and listening to gospel and various other music, and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her son, Curtis Wimer of Louisiana; daughters, Helen Cancilla and Bonnie Wissenbach, both of Lodi; brothers, George Goerzen of Lodi and Paul Goerzen of Kansas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edgar Wimer; second husband, James Eugene Cantwell; and six siblings.

There will be no visitation. Services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 525 W. Lockeford St., Lodi, CA 95240.

Donahue Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
