Steven Schnabel

A funeral for Steven C. Schnabel, 68, of Lodi, who died Jan. 23, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Zion Reformed Church, 105 S. Ham Lane, Lodi, with Pastor Matt Duerr officiating. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 at East Harney Lane, Lodi.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lodi Memorial Hospital Foundation or Zion Reform Church.

John Alexander II

A memorial service for John Hugh Alexander Ii, 80, of Lodi, who died Jan. 23, will be held at 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Lodi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Lodi, Learning to Hope — an education ministry for the children of Northeastern India — 267 Mills Ave., Lodi, Ca 95242.

Naomi Rieger

A service for Naomi Alliene (Holt) Rieger, 79, of Lodi, who died Jan. 18, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Heritage Mausoleum at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.

Walter Goehring

A memorial service for Walter Goehring, of Lockeford, who died Jan. 23, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ebenezer Congressional Church, 825 S. Central Ave., Lodi. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 at East Harney Lane, Lodi.

Thomas Oliver

A celebration of the life of Thomas Oliver, 86, who died Jan. 12, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Open Bible Church, 760 S. Ham Lane, Lodi. Committal will be private and there will be no visitation.

Virginia Hieb

A memorial service for Virginia Maw Hieb, 86, of Lodi, who died Jan. 9, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Oak Street, Lodi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the San Joaquin County Historical Society, P.O. box 30, Lodi Ca 95241; or the United Methodist Women.

Riley Darnell

A celebration of the life of Riley Devern Darnell, 97, of Lodi, who died Jan. 6, will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Lockeford Seventh-day Adventist Church, 19900 N. Elliott Road, Lockeford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lodi Academy Student Worthy Fund, 1230 S. Central Ave., Lodi, Ca 95240.

Israel ‘Gersh’ Rosen

A celebration of the life of Israel Gershon “Gersh” Rosen, 84, of Lodi, who died Dec. 14, 2012, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 23 in the Cortopassi Building at the San Joaquin County Historical Society and Museum, 11793 N. Micke Grove Road, Lodi.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sjc Historical Society and Museum, Tractor Fund, P.O. Box 30, Lodi, Ca 95241-0030; or the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C., 20090-6011.

Genevieve Finley

A Mass for Genevieve M. Finley, 92, of Woodbridge, who died Jan. 21, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 24 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Interment will be private. There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Loel Center, 105 S. Washington St., Lodi, Ca 95240.
