Martin Sandoval, 36, of Thornton, died Dec. 29 unexpectedly in a Turlock hospital. He was born May 17, 1968, in Guanajuato, Mexico.
Mr. Sandoval worked as a laborer for two years for the Roofing Supply Group of Stockton. He was a member of Mater Ecclasiae Catholic Church in Thornton.
He is survived by his wife, Maricela Sandoval, of Thornton; sons, Danilo Sandoval and Allan Sandoval, both of Thornton; daughter, Janette Sandoval, of Thornton; brothers, Manuel, Roberto, Gustavo, and Luis Sandoval, all of Thornton, Saul and Jesus Sandoval, of Woodbridge, Moises Sandoval, of Washington; and sisters, Teresa Sandoval, of Galt, Aurora Sandoval, of Lodi, Marina Sandoval, of Los Angeles, and Delfina Sandoval, of Mexico.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anne's Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Sunday at Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Mexico.
