Minnie Hoffer, 93, of Lockeford, died Jan. 13. She was born April 23, 1919 in Fairfax, S.D.

Mrs. Hoffer retired as a lead cook from Lockeford Elementary School. She was an active member at Grace Church in Lockeford, where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and her favorite pastime, crafts of all kinds.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Agans of San Andreas and Harold Agans of Lodi; six grandchildren,15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Eugene Agans; daughters, Catherine Agans and Helen Correa; sisters, Julia Wittmuss, Elizabeth Hoffer and Margaret Fredericks; and granddaughter, Deborah Agans.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Rocha's Mortuary, 215 S. School St., Lodi. Visitation will be held from noon to 4 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. Committal will be private at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5750 E. Pine St., Lodi.

Rocha's Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
