Pablo Ramirez Sr., 84, of Woodbridge, died May 24. He was born on March 2, 1930, in Jalisco, Mexico.

Mr. Ramirez lived in Lodi for the past 45 years. He worked as a farm laborer for his entire life, and enjoyed gardening, cooking and making tomatillo salsa.

He is survived by his wife, Guadalupe; daughters, Teresa De Santiago, Rosario Hernandez, Lupe Herrera, Maria De Santiago, Clara Ramirez and Magdalena Suarez; sons, Juan Ramirez, Luis Ramirez, Leo Ramirez, Enrique Ramirez and Pablo Ramirez Jr.; brother, Felix Ramirez; 27 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Polo, Fermin, Martina and Simon.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 215, W. Walnut St. in Lodi. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 at East Harney Lane in Lodi. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. at the chapel.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
