Mike Williams, 75, of Lodi, died July 12. He was born Sept. 15, 1938, in Placerville.

Mr. Williams was raised in Placerville and Salinas before moving to Stockton, where he graduated from high school. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea for a short period. After his service, he returned to the Lodi area. He was employed by the city of Lodi for more than 40 years as an electrical lineman and troubleshooter before he retired in 2000. He enjoyed spending time with his family and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Williams of Lodi; daughters, Michelle Florkowski of Dublin and Dawnette Lear of Lodi; and three grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. July 26 in the Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park. Inurnment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lodi Memorial Hospital Foundation, 845 S. Fairmont Ave., Suite 3, Lodi, CA 95240; or Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
