Janet Fessier
Janet Ila Fessier, 90, of Lodi and formerly of Stockton, died
Aug. 1. She was born Janet Ila Pollum in Stockton.
Mrs. Fessier grew up in Stockton and remained a longtime
resident there until recently, when she moved to Lodi. As a child
she performed on a local radio station, singing and playing the
ukulele. In later life, she worked with the Dameron Hospital
Auxiliary Unit.
She enjoyed traveling and taking vacations with her husband Bill
Fessier, whom she married on June 12, 1947. She also enjoyed taking
care of her family and entertaining.
She is survived by her son, David Fessier, of Stauton, Va.;
daughter, Debby Huggins, of Lodi; sister, Arliss; seven
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bill
Fessier; brother, Warren Pollum; and sisters, Leah Morse, Margaret
Stewart and Ruth Clites.
At her request, there will be no service.
