Madora Lucille Adams, 101, of the Galt and Lockeford area, died Nov. 17. She was born May, 2, 1912, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mrs. Adams was a homemaker. She married Jason Warren Adams on Aug. 24, 1935. She was baptized on April 1, 1942, and was a Jehovah’s Witness for 71 1/2 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, cooking and sewing quilts and doll clothes.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Gonzalez; sister, Nella Rose Earnest; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jason Warren Adams; son, Stanley Adams; sister, Virgina Adams; brother, Howard Hale; and one grandchild.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 484 E. Augusta St., Woodbridge, with Joe Gonzalez officiating. Committal will be private at Cherokee Memorial Park.

All Faith Cremations and Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
