Manuel De Jesus Higuera, 92, of Acampo, died Sept. 11. He was born on June 20, 1921, in Rialto.

Mr. Higuera worked in farm labor. He enjoyed watching baseball, boxing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Rosario Higuera; sons, Manuel Higuera of Lodi, Ariel Higuera and Jose Higuera of Stockton; daughters, Alma Ruiz of Lodi and Maria Valencia of Acampo; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 215 W. Walnut St., Lodi. Committal will follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5750 E. Pine St., Lodi. A recitation of the rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave., Lodi. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
