Heidi Petschuch

A memorial service for Heidi Petschuch, 57, of Modesto and formerly of Lodi, who died Oct. 1, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Lodi Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ralph Grzecki from Unity Church of Modesto officiating. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Oct. 27 at Unity Church of Modesto.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Unity Church of Modesto, 467 Veneman Ave., Modesto, CA 95356; or the Library Fund at Alberta Martone Elementary School, 1413 Poust Road, Modesto, CA 95356.

Vernon Bauer

A funeral for Vernon Bauer, 74, of Stockton, who died on Oct. 15, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave. Internment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95201.

Ed Burns

A memorial service for Ed Burns, 57, of Stockton, who died Oct. 6, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Morris Chapel at the University of the Pacific. A gathering for all will follow at 3:30 p.m. at The Alder Market.

Margaret Schultz

A memorial service for Margaret Wollesen Schultz, 82, who died Oct. 9, will be held at 10 a.m. (formerly 11 a.m.) today at First United Methodist Church of Lodi, 200 W. Oak St.

Florence Parrett

A graveside service for Herbert "Papa" Preszler Sr., 86, of Victor, who died on Oct. 16, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Lodi Historical Cemetery on Pine Street in Lodi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817.
