Manuel E. Rocha Jr., 83. of Lodi, died on Oct. 23. He was born on May 24, 1928 in Port Costa.
Mr. Rocha was the owner of Rocha’s Shoe Repair. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, was a life member of the Ambler’s Club, and past member of CPSC Stockton. He was active with the Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Rocha; daughters: Cyndy Poser, of Boise, Idaho, and Nancy Rocha, of Lodi; son, Manuel Rocha III, of Lodi; sisters: Helen Giafaglione, of San Jose, and Bea Alves and Carol Bickley, both of Stockton; brothers, Bob Rocha and Tony Rocha, both of Stockton; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 at East Harney Lane in Lodi.
Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 207 E. Alpine Ave., Stockton.
