A church service for Suzanne “Suzy” Giddens, 49, of Acampo, who died June 13, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Big Valley Bible Church, 226 E. Poplar St., Lodi, with Pastor H.E. Wilburn officiating. Committal will be private.

Elsie Schuchard

A chapel service for Elsie Christina Schuchard, 89, of Lodi, who died June 17, will be held at 11 a.m. today in the Chapel of the Flowers in the Sierra View Mausoleum at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 at East Harney Lane, Lodi, with Pastor Sarah Meckler-Tate of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Billy ‘Ray’ Powell

A funeral for Billy Ray Powell, 82, of Lodi, who died June 18, will be held at 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church, 500 Buena Vista Dr., Merced (corner of M St. and Buena Vista Drive). Interment will follow at Merced District Cemetery. A fellowship gathering will follow interment at the church.
