Ruben A. Solorio, 59, of Stockton, formerly of Lodi, died Oct. 5. He was born Feb. 23, 1954, in Stockton.

Mr. Solorio grew up in Stockton and graduated from Franklin High School in 1972. He also a graduated from Sacramento State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education. He worked for the State of California as an auditor for over 25 years. He had a hearty laugh and enjoyed telling jokes.

He is survived by his son, Carlos R. Solorio of San Francisco; sister, Martha Thomas of Lodi; brother, Manuel Solorio of Lodi.

He was preceded in death by his son, David S. Solorio; father and mother, Mariano V. and Guadalupe A. Solorio.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Oct. 25, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 215 W. Walnut Lodi.

Rocha's All Faith Cremation and Burial assisted family with arrangements.
