Shirley Belle Bergantz, 74, of Lodi, died May 7. She was born Nov. 11, 1938 in San Francisco.
Mrs. Bergantz worked for Tri Valley Growers in Stockton, before retiring. She graduated from Lodi High School. She enjoyed traveling, being involved with activities at the United Congregational Christian Church. She assisted with the Woman’s Fellowship and the Mayflower group. She enjoyed spending time with her family on holidays, and board games.
She is survived by her daughters, Kendra Acor, Shelley Barter and Karen Riggs; sons, Wes Hieb and Mike Hieb; sister, Sandy Preszler of Acampo; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Bergantz.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the United Congregational Christian Church, 701 S. Hutchins St., Lodi.
