Chuck Hooper
Chuck Hooper, 79, of Oklahoma and formerly of Lodi, died Aug. 23. He was born Oct. 1, 1932 in Stratford, Okla.
Mr. Hooper graduated from Antioch High School in 1950. He served in the U.S. Navy, and later worked in rental property for many years. He was a resident of Lodi for 25 years before returning to Oklahoma. He enjoyed watching athletic events and Nascar, socializing and being with his family.
He is survived by his sons, Mark Hooper of Oklahoma City and Mike Hooper of California; daughters, Laurie Prindle of Walnut Creek, Charlynne Little and Terri Miller, both of Madill, Okla., and Debbie Simmons of Ada, Okla.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home in Ada, Okla., with Rev. Robert Eberle officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada, Okla., with the Oklahoma Army National Guard performing military honors.
Smith-Phillips Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
