Fred Bottimore
Fred Bottimore, 69, of Herald, died Sept. 29. He was born June 2, 1943 in Sacramento.
Mr. Bottimore retired as a truck driver for Tom Mayo Construction. He enjoyed "jeeping," watching NASCAR, collecting and displaying old gas engines, and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen Bottimore of Acampo; son, Cory Bottimore of Galt; daughters, Kerry Bottimore of Galt and Kristie Henry of Acampo; mother, Annabelle Bottimore of Herald; brother, Robert Tib Bottimore of Herald; sister, Carol Bottimore of Sacramento; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bob" Bottimore; and brother, Bill Bottimore.
A celebration of his life will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Oct. 13 at Hendrickson Hall, 12746 Ivie Road, Herald.
Ben Salas Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
