A funeral for Roy Knoll, 86, of Stockton, who died Aug. 9, will be held at 11 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church, 17580 E. Highway 26, Linden, with Pastor Jon Hathorn officiating. Committal, with honors present by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard, will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 at East Harney Lane, Lodi.

A funeral for Max M. Carroll, 72, of Stockton, who died Aug. 9, will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 20 at the Central United Methodist Church, 3700 Pacific Ave., Stockton, with Rev. David Bennett, Rev. Gary Putnam, Rev. Bill Johnson and Morning Star Lodge officiating. Private entombment will be in the Sierra View Mausoleum at Cherokee Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, 2425 Stockton, Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817; or to the Stockton Kiwanis Club Foundation, in care of Brian Swanson, 414 W. Longview Ave., Stockton, CA 95207 are preferred.

A memorial service for Brent Edward Crabill, 50, of Woodbridge, who died July 25, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Open Bible Church, 760 S. Ham Lane, Lodi.

A memorial service for Doris Tomoye (Yuke) Yamada, 86, who died Aug. 5, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 2343 Country Club Blvd., Stockton.
