Glenn Hjalmer, 83, of Lodi, died Nov. 23. He was born in Wheaton, Minn.

Mr. Hjalmer was a resident of Lodi for most of the last 23 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force and later worked as an electronics technician at Boeing, and for more than 25 years at the FAA. He enjoyed sports, especially golf.

Mr. Hjalmer is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ellenora Hjalmer; daughters, Anna Hjalmer of Lodi and Jean Cullaro of Stockton; brothers, Dennis Hjalmer, Wes Hjalmer and John Hjalmer; sisters, Dolores Erickson, Dottie McFarland and Pat Stavig; and a granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Big Valley Bible Church, 226 E. Poplar St., Lodi. Interment will be private at Cherokee Memorial Park.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
