Donald Roth Sr., 71, of Onalaska, Wash. and formerly of Lodi, died July 21. He was born Oct. 14, 1941 in Lodi.
Mr. Roth was a communications operator while serving in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Delmont Cannery in Stockton after 40 years of service. He lived his dream by moving to Washington, where he enjoyed fishing and exploring.
He is survived by his sons, Don Roth Jr., Duane Roth and Perry Reeder; sisters, Charleen Bartels and Judy Silva-Likins; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Roth.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with Pastor Zimmeriman officiating. A potluck will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Social Hall. Please bring a dish to share.
