John Borrero 'Chief Silver Arrow'

John M. Borrero, aka Chief Silver Arrow, 74, of Lodi, died Feb. 20. He was born June 5, 1935.

Mr. Borrero served in the U.S. Navy Special Forces as a Navy SEAL during the Korean War. As a Native American, he helped to establish the first Indian pow-wow in Lodi. He was a member of Woodbridge Grange.

He is survived by his fiancee, Rose Kolb.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. March 27 at Lodi Lake Mobile Home Park No. 42, Lower Sacramento Road, Woodbridge, on the lawn area by the river.
