Ray Allen Barreth, 54, of Lodi died Dec. 1. He was born Oct. 17, 1958 in Lodi.

Mr. Berreth was a free spirit who lived life by his own rules. He enjoyed spending time outdoors.

He is survived by his son, Christopher; daughter, Jessica Berreth of Salem, Ore.; mother, Irma Berreth; sisters, Debbie Harty of Acampo, Vicky Lanza of Burson and Terry Berreth of Galt; brothers, Ricky Berreth and Ronnie Berreth, both of Galt, and Randy Berreth of Kentucky; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Berreth; and sister, Darla Stratton.

There will be no services.

Penittilas Chapel assisted family with arrangements.
