Lowell Williamson
Lowell Todd Williamson, 95, of Galt, died Dec. 31, 2012. He was born Nov. 8, 1917 in Missouri.
Mr. Williamson served in the Army. He later worked as a lube rack technician at Winter Motor Company in Sacramento. He was a member of Galt Bible Church, where he helped with the construction of their new sanctuary and was active in church activities including the Awana Youth Programs. He enjoyed lapidary work and traveling to collect rocks.
He is survived by his sister, Darlene Zimmerman; brother, Harold Williamson; and granddaughter, Debbie Poss.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lela; second wife, Martha; son, Ronald Williamson; and brothers, Arlan and Ola.
A celebration of his life will be held at noon on Jan. 20 at Galt Bible Church. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. Committal will be private. There will be no visitation.
Ben Salas Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
