RUDOLPH LONG

A funeral for Rudolph Wilmer Long, 87, of Lodi, who died Aug. 16, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Lodi Avenue Baptist Church, 2301 W. Lodi Ave., with Pastor Mike Abdollahzadeh officiating. Committal will follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lodi Avenue Baptist Church; or to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.

MAX CARROLL

A funeral for Max M. Carroll, 72, of Stockton, who died Aug. 9, will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Central United Methodist Church, 3700 Pacific Ave., Stockton, with Rev. David Bennett, Rev. Gary Putnam, Rev. Bill Johnson and Morning Star Lodge officiating. Private entombment will be in the Sierra View Mausoleum at Cherokee Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, 2425 Stockton, Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817; or to the Stockton Kiwanis Club Foundation, in care of Brian Swanson, 414 W. Longview Ave., Stockton, CA 95207.

A chapel service for William "Bill" King, 74, of Lodi, who died Aug. 15, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 at East Harney Lane, Lodi. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
