Ferman Quintero, 52, of Galt, died Jan. 23 in Tracy after a lengthy illness. He was born May 28, 1950, in Dallas.
Mr. Quintero lived in Washington and Oregon for 15 years and spent the last 13 years in Galt, where he supervised field laborers.
He was a member of Calvary Life Tabernacle of Galt and enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, camping and barbecues with friends.
He is survived by his wife, Gudelia Ocampo Quintero, of Galt; sons, Manuel O. Quintero and Hector O. Quintero, of Galt; daughter, Raquel O. Quintero, of Galt; mother, Ramona Ocampo, of Galt; sisters, Andrea Rodriguez, of Galt, Manuela Rodriguez, Juanita Olivares and Maria Ramirez, of Washington; brothers, Alexandro Rodriguez, of Galt, Facundo Quintero, Willie Rodriguez, Abran Rodriguez and Merced Rodriguez Jr., of Washington, and Valinten Rodriguez, of Texas.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ben Salas Funeral Home in Galt with Rev. Larry Lyons officiating. Committal will follow at Galt Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
