William “Bill” Fisher, 76, of Galt, died Oct. 4. He was born Jan. 8, 1937, in Boone, Iowa.

Mr. Fisher lived in Galt for the past 40 years. He attended and graduated from Lodi Union High School Class of 1954, then worked as a truck driver for 45 years prior to retirement.

He enjoyed working on antique and older cars, and was a member of the Teamsters Union.

He is survived by his sister, Frances Baker of Stockton; and three nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, George Fisher.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at Donahue Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harmony Grove Cemetery in Lockeford.

Donahue Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
