Anthony A. Cabral, 84, formerly of Lodi, died June 16. He was born May 18, 1926, in Sacramento.

Mr. Cabral worked in the trucking business, and served in the 81st Infantry Division of the Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Cabral; son, Anthony Cabral; brothers, John Cabral Sr., Mario Cabral; sister, Celeste Nevis; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Nunes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. today at Old St. Stanislaus Church, with Father Ramon officiating. Committal will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery with military honors.

Franklin and Down Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
