Dominic Rodriguez To Travel To Cary, North Carolina

Dominic Rodriguez has recently made the official roster for Regional Team Northern California 11U USA Baseball. Dominic was picked for pitching/utility. Dominic will be flying to Cary, North Carolina the end of August to play in the USA Baseball National Teams Identification Series.Traveling with him will be his dad and coach Cory Rodriguez. His travel team is Norcal Valley out of Modesto. Dom, which he likes to be called, just wrapped up his first season on a major league team, the Yankees in Turlock. The Yankees took 2nd. place in the American League Playoffs. Cory Rodriguez was also one of the coaches on this team and before that the manager of Dom's minor league team The Rivercats. The Rivercats took City Championship two years in a row and came in 1st place in the Tournament of Champions District 73.  

 
Dominic's grandparents are Roline Rodriguez and Jerry Gerjits. They have lived in Lodi for 27 years and are the on site managers for LaEspana Apartments on Ham Ln. Dominic resides in Turlock and goes to Denair Elementary where he will be in 6th grade. Besides baseball, Dom likes to play his video games, go fishing, and "hang" with his baseball buddies. Most of the time you will find him out on some baseball field with his dad getting in some training and practice. He also has a 5 year old sister named Emma. His mother is Jillian Gray. Jillian will also be traveling to North Carolina.
