Lodi Extreme All Star 10-and-under softball team wins Pacific Southwest Championship

The Lodi Extreme All Star 10-and-under softball team won the Pacific Southwest Championship tournament last weekend in Lodi, defeating Ripon 12 to 8 in the final game of the championship game.

The Extreme went 3-1 in the tournament, beating Concord 19-5 and Ripon 13-5 clenching a spot in the championship games on Sunday.

On Sunday the Extreme suffered a heart breaking loss to Ripon 15-11, forcing a second game. The team came back to clench the championship with a 12-8 win over Ripon.

“The team had a slight melt down in the first game on Sunday. But came together as a team for the second game and won. The Extreme head coach Paul Jackson said. “I am so proud of these girls, it was a pleasure to be their coach.”

The Extreme players included Katherine Jackson, Emily and Megan Walker, Jordan Meyers, Lauren Frisk, Zion King, Alexia Hall, Annika and Hannah Hauschildt, Jordan Meyers, Natalie Nord, Mckenzy Perkins, and Shelby Katzakian. Head Coach Paul Jackson, Assistant Coaches Tony Meyers and Frank Hall.
