Pacific FC Lightning advance to division finals

The Pacific FC Lightning GU 13 soccer team is advancing to the Nor Cal State Cup Gold 1 Division Finals next weekend with wins over Heritage Soccer Club Pride and Cal Blues.

In the quarter finals match the Lightning went 0 – 0 with Heritage during regulation time. During golden goal overtime Alexis Abraca scored the game winner on a cross from Whitney Devine. Delaney Dietz and Corrin Clemons had standout performances. Sabrina Searls had a shutout performance in the goal.

In the semi finals match the Lightning beat Cal Blues 3-0. Goals were scored by Whitney Devine, Bailey Franklin and Mia Niemantsverdriet. Amber Feng had an assist. The defense was anchored by standout performances by Camille Ramirez and Katie Musgrave. Sabrina Searls had another shutout performance in the goal.

This is the third year in a row the Lightning has reached the Nor Cal State Cup Championship game.
