The Lodi Rotary Club has a long-standing tradition of kicking out the club president when his or her term is expiring. This year was no exception, as current president Dan Ingrum recently found out.
Club presidents often dread the kick-out process because they really don’t know what they will be subject to.
This year’s kickout went to the extreme where Ingrum, along with Chris Littlefield and Mark Chandler, were actually kicked out of a plane at 10,000 feet above the vineyards near the Lodi Airport.
Screaming could be heard at the jump center, but we just couldn’t tell who it was coming from. This club member is pleased to announce that all made it down safely.
I have a feeling that our newest club president, Joanne McReynolds, might be giving the position a second thought.
