I am a cancer survivor and this was my first Relay. I joined the group "Bootin' Cancer" which consists of the children of my best friend Patty Greenmyer that was lost to cancer 5 years ago. A wonderful husband and 4 beautiful daughters were left behind to cope without their mother.  The girls were all in high school at the time. I will continue to be involved in Relay and hope to involve my other friends. Being there with these amazing Greenmyer woman, was a wonderful and extremely emotional time for me and worth every minute.  Thank you for the experience.
