New officers elected for Lodi Community Band

Lodi Community Band elects new officers for the 2014-2015 year. They are as follows:

President — Barbara Portal

Vice-President/Historian — Carol Marvel

Secretary — position yet to be filled

Treasurer- Duane Purdey

Business Manager — Bob Gross

Band Librarian — Bob Clemons

Logistics manager — Fred McKendry

Poster distributer — Don Guptill

Member-at-large — Jerry Katzakian

Member-at-large — John Montalvo

Band Director — Art Holton

We will be performing our first concert of the year on March 9, 2014, at Hutchins Street Square at 2:00 in the afternoon..

As always the concert is free to the public and no ticket is required. We will be joined by the Stockton Concert Band for this special performance and there will be over 100 musicians on the stage for the finale — a powerful rendition of Dmitri Shoatakovich’s “Festive Overture”.
