Lodi Academy is a Seventh-day Adventist Christian High School that has been providing quality education in a Christ-centered environment for over 100 years. The Music Department at Lodi Academy consists of a choir, chamber choir and a concert band that perform at various churches and throughout local communities.

The Chamber Choir and Concert Band recently participated in the Worldstrides Heritage Performance competition held in Fullerton. A silver medal was awarded to Chamber Choir and the Concert Band earned the bronze medal. Two students; Joshua Li, a freshman and Zachary DeChance, a senior, received individual Maestro awards for their musical excellence.

The outstanding music director, Mr. Daniel Rodriguez, has been serving at Lodi Academy for eight years. He is married with three children, the youngest of whom currently plays in the concert band.

Lodi Academy will be presenting a patriotic tribute concert on Memorial Day, Sunday May 26 at Cherokee Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Lodi Academy for $10.
