Waldo and his twin sister were born August 2013 on the Winding Creek Cattle Ranch in Farmington CA. He is a light tan color and is smaller than his twin sister.

As newborns, the twins and their mother were placed in a small area in the corral for two weeks. Waldo was such a personable little calf that I decided to introduce him to Betty Jean, an 89-year-old woman who lives at the ranch. Betty Jean recently joined us on the ranch from the city and is getting introduced to farm life.

I carried Waldo into her bedroom. She was totally surprised. This little calf enjoyed the visit and gave Betty Jean such joy and delight. She talked to the little baby calf and petted his soft coat. Waldo is now classified as a Service Calf.
