For Lodi's Grace and Mercy Charitable Foundation, it has been quite a busy summer centered around food and not suprisingly, also helping others. Partnering with First Baptist Church assisting with vacation bible school six week program, Church in the Park at Hale Park ongoing until October, Bear Creek Church back to school giveaway, and G&M's school supply giveaway on the East Side.

We were able to serve hot nutritional lunches and snacks to students out of school for the summer. In all we served approximately 1800 meals to youth this summer. We continue to assist transitioning adults as well with food, clothing  and other necessities for day to day living.

On that note, Grace and Mercy will have a Southern Hospitality fundraiser on September 7th at the American Legion Hall. The event is from 4-9 pm. Live music and a spectacular BBQ dinner with all the trimmings. Tickets are 25.00 each and support the buildings in which reside 425 and 425 1/2 N. Sacramento Street in Lodi, CA. To make a donation of wine, a basket,  purchase your tickets,or for more information, please call (209) 224-5273 or (925) 864-0183. Thank you for your continued support.
