Fire hydrant turns into street geyser after being hit by truck

My wife and I were going home after picking up some groceries a little before 7 p.m. on Saturday night. We saw a truck that hit the fire hydrant parked in the middle of the street (on Lodi Avenue) with the hydrant just laying there.
Right after I took the photo we watched a guy in a pickup truck drive through the fountain to wash his truck off.
The first driver was just standing by his truck waiting for the city worker to arrive to shut down the flow.
I went back by around 7:20 p.m. and found the truck gone and a city worker had shut things down.
Cars just slowed to check out Lodi’s geyser.
