Ag Venture held at Lodi Grape Festival Grounds
The annual Ag Venture for the Stockton, Lodi and Linden third graders was held at the Grape Festival in Lodi. Approximately 3600 children attended.
The students learned about agriculture and the availability of farm commodities and health benefits of locally grown crops and animals. The event was an educational opportunity to teach children where their food comes from and how important farming is.
San Joaquin Cattlewomen and the Farm Bureau participated in the event and served lunch to volunteers.
