The Lodi Newcomer’s Club held installation of new officers at a recent luncheon held at Habanero Hots in Lodi.

New officers for the coming year are Noreen Thompson, president; Carol Meidinger, first vice-president; Jerry Tait, second vice-president; Charlene Flynn, treasurer; June Hill, secretary; and Goldie Miller, parliamentarian. The club has been active since 1955 and was established for the purpose of helping new women to the community get acquainted and make new friends. Club membership is open to all women, new and long established residents of Lodi and the surrounding area.

Luncheons are held at a restaurant of the hostesses choosing and are held on the second Thursday of the month, year around and coffees are held once or twice a month on the third or forth Thursday at a restaurant or private home. Other group activities consist of bridge, pinochle, Mah Jong, book club and some bus trips. Those interested in membership may call Noreen Thompson at 209-369-4528.
