Lodi Garden Club is offering scholarships

The Lodi Garden Club is offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior in any of the Lodi district high schools, including the Lodi Academy and Jim Elliott Christian School.

Participants must have career plans in any of the following subjects: botany, conservation, entomology, floriculture, forestry, horticulture, land architecture, plant biology or plant genetics, urban planning, agriculture, ornamental horticulture, viticulture, crop science, computer agriculture or agricultural economics.

Application forms are available at the high school career guidance counsel office or by calling 369-4242. Three scholarships will be awarded. Deadline for filing the application in the counsel office is April 27.
