Elks hold scholarship luncheon

The Lodi Elks Lodge No. 1900 held a scholarship awards luncheon for seven scholarship recipients and their families on July 7. Elk members awarded a total of $10,600 in scholarships to the students.
Lee Taylor and Eileen Dugan organized the event for these fine students. The lunch was prepared by Julie and Jon Traxler. Norm Gaskill made the spaghetti sauce.
Our scholarship committee, headed by Lee Taylor, included Suzanne Henderson, Judy Gaskell, Steve Brackney, Marilyn Hughes and the late Marvin Taylor. They did a great job in selecting our winners.
