Lodi Rotary Club announces Youth Leadership Award winners

The Lodi Rotary Club recently announced this year’s RYLA recipients. Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a Rotary’s leadership training program for young people.
RYLA participants can be ages 14 to 30, but local clubs have chosen to focus on a narrower age range, between 14 and 18. RYLA emphasizes leadership, citizenship and personal growth, and aims to:
- Demonstrate Rotary’s respect and concern for youths.
- Provide an effective training experience for selected youths and potential leaders.
- Encourage leadership of youths by youths.
- Recognize publicly young people who are rendering service to their communities.
