At a recent dinner meeting held at the Woodbridge Country Club, the American Association of University Women installed new officers for 2014-15. They are Elise Forbes, corresponding secretary; Pat Goudie, membership treasurer; Sylvia Mayorga, treasurer; Becky Hamner, board meeting secretary; Julie Thompson, general meeting secretary; Linda Hammons, program co-chair; Nancy Mellor, program co-chair; and Sharon Ceresa, co-president.

AAUW is a network of educated women who advocate equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research. The Lodi branch was chartered in 1959 and incorporated in 1962.

The club’s new year will begin on Aug. 23 with a 9 a.m. brunch at the Woodbridge Country Club. The girls who will be attending the AAUW summer science and math camp program known as Tech Trek, will share their experiences with the group.
