An installation ceremony was held on June 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Wine Country Restaurant for incoming officers of the Lodi Lions Club.Corey Daniels was elected as the club president for 2009-10. Daniels has been an active member of the Lodi Lions Club for the past six years.
Richard Prima was elected to serve as the new club secretary. Larry Dold will continue as club treasurer. The club's vice-presidents for the coming year will be Grant Fletcher, first vp; Alan Ashbaugh, second vp and Jill DeHerrera, third vp.
According to Corey Daniels, president, "I am looking forward to leading various projects and continuing the Lodi Lion Club's commitment to serving the community."
The Lodi Lions Club meets at noon, Wednesday, at the Lodi Grape Festival grounds in Burgundy Hall. Lions clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
