Liberty Oaks Pony Club members have been busy attending various activities besides their regular meetings including a Hunter/Jumper Show, Standards and Certifications Clinic, Eventful Acres Spring Horse Trials, and most recently a Sierra Pacific Region Show Jumping Rally at Rancho Murieta.

Savanah Spears, Ashley Buck and Priya Patel competed in Oregon House at the Spring Horse Trials which included a dressage test, show jumping and a cross country jumping course. They showed as individuals. Riding as a team at Rancho Murieta were Miranda Olagary, Sophie Weisman, Ashley Buck and Kaitlin Ramos with Trevor Ravera as Stable Manager.

Thirteen teams participated traveling from as far north as Arcata and east from the Reno/Gardernerville area. They set up their tack room in one of the stalls and were judged on their horse care and management besides competing in three rounds of show jumping. They were delighted to be awarded first place. Some members will be participating in the upcoming dressage in the Almonds at MarVal Stables in Woodbridge.

Liberty Oaks Pony Club regular meetings are held at Gateway Farm, 18025 E. Collier Road, Acampo. Interested riders should call Ann Fickert at 209-401-9191 or Liz Jenner at 209-759-9700.
