Scouts from Lodi, Galt and Valley Springs came together from June 18 to 20, to fun at the 2012 Cub Scout Olympics at the Lodi Lake Twilight Camp.
There were 177 Scouts and over 110 volunteers who helped make it all happen.
The Scouts entered the Olympic Village and transformed into Cub Scout athletes, representing 19 different countries during the three-day event. Scouts participated in a Cub Pentathlon, learned mapping skills, boned up on good nutrition, made wood projects, arts & crafts and performed skits on the last night at our Campfire event. Crazy Hat Day and a gymnastics presentation from the students at Impact Sports gave our Scouts that Olympic feel.
Boys ages 7 to 11 are still welcome to join Scouts. Email inquiries to Lodiscouts@yahoo.com.
