On April 27 the Lodi branch of the American Association of University Women will hold its annual garage sale from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 201 Royal Oaks Drive on the corner of Rivergate Drive in Lodi. Vintage jewelry, gorgeous furniture, books, toys, kitchen gadgets, vintage linens, tools, and home decor will be on sale.

Leigh Ramsey and Lorraine Ramsey-Bowers will chair the garage sale this year, assisted by many AAUW volunteers. The garage sale has been a major fundraiser for AAUW since the 1990s when it replaced the annual book sale which had been a Lodi tradition for many years.

The sale will benefit AAUW’s many projects and programs including Tech Trek, the one week math and science summer camp for 8th grade girls. This year, our goal is to provide a $1,000 scholarship for a graduating senior girl at each of Lodi Unified’s comprehensive high schools.
