Officers were elected for the 2009-10 year at the June meeeting and are Caroline Henry, president; Richard Allen, vice president; Joyce Costa, secretary; and Pam Bechill, treasurer.

Our featured show in the gallery for July will be our "Annual Membership Show." It will be judged by Deborah Morgan, of Galt, and will include artwork from our membership only. For our monthly meeting on July 7th, Morgan will do a critique of the member show.

The First Friday Night Art Hop will be held on July 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. so as not to conflict with any of the celebrations planned for July 4th.

We will continue all our classes: Drawing with Caroline Henry, every Thursday at the gallery from 4 to 5:30 p.m.; Mommy & Me classes every Thursday at the gallery from noon to 2 p.m. and Oil with Jean Justeau every Tuesday at the gallery from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We will also have a special two-day workshop at the gallery given by Clemmi King, member of Sumi-E Society of America. She will be teaching Chinese Brush Painting on July 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For information and registration, call the gallery.
